I went in the car with Lee (Left) and we later met up with Danny (center) and Gavin (right). It was a bit of a pain trying to find a hotel that wasn't "familys and couples only".
We took it in turns to get out the car and ask at a hotel. When it was Lees turn he came back, collected our bags and took them into a hotel. The rest of us waited in the car then Lee went a few streets away to park.
In the 10 minutes it took us to walk back Lee couldn't remember the name of the hotel he had just booked us into. We were walking round the same 3 streets for about an hour before Lee had a clue where it was!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By this time it was dark so we headed straight to the pubs and started drinking. Up until we walked back to the hotel it was a fairly uneventful night. Then Danny lost it a bit (as he sometimes does) and tried to pick a fight with some random youth who looked about 14 years old. It turned out his dad (who was massive) was nearby and came after us all. We wanted nothing to do with this in the first place.
We somehow ended up in another pub where Danny and Lee were completely out of it by the end.
The following day we met up with the group from back home for another drinking episode. By about 5pm I wanted to go back to the hotel for food and water. Danny was being macho and giving it the "we're drinking all day" speech so myself and Lee arranged to join them later. By the time we got back at about 2 hours later Danny and Gavin were about falling sleep in a bar and got thrown out by the bouncers shortly after.
The 2 hours break made the difference between going sleep early and staying out all night.
We ended up in a club until the early hours where I lost the door key to the hotel but somehow we managed to get back in.
Not a bad weekend............................
