After being there and having such a great time 2 years earlier it was very hard to resist going back to Hua Hin. The town seemed just the same as when I left. I grabbed a room at one of the first places I seen above a bar. Later that evening I went down into the bar grabbed a couple of beers and started playing pool with one of the girls there. Not long after I was going to pay my bill and take a walk round town when I found that the girls drinks had been put on my bill without even being asked. When I objected the woman in charge started getting funny about it, now it was only about 4 pounds but I hate people who are greedy and take without asking.
So the following night I went straight out and didn't spend any money in there. I had already paid for 2 nights on arrival but found somewhere else and moved out the following day. Now I stayed in the town 4 more nights and at 14 pounds a night plus whatever I would have spent drinking was what business that place lost out of me for the sake of 4 pounds. A typical example of how someone in Asia could have made a lot more money from me had they not have been go greedy.
The new place I checked in was above the moto gp bar and owned by a bloke who had obviously been to donnington park, drank at jimmy deans and even stopped in my own village. The town itself had changed little in the 2 years, still full of totally obnoxious Indians trying to sell you a suit every few yards.

I was there for a bit of nightlife however and met a group of people and spent several late nights at the karoke bar. Met 2 girls who remembered me from my previous visit which was a bit strange. Last time I came was in the low season and there was more people around then that 2008 in the high season. The trouble at Bangkok airport had caused a massive drop in the tourist industry. On the Friday it did nothing but rain all day and I got hassled in one of the bars by some very drunk scottish bloke.
On my last full day there one of the girls from the bar drove me up to a temple on a hill overlooking the town. We also visited parts of the town I had not seen before. On Sunday I caught the nightbus to Krabi....
