KRABI TOWN - THAILAND

Something very unusual happened for that part of the world. The night bus was early as in 2 hours early arriving at Krabi bus terminal. Getting there at 5am before it got light didn't help however so I killed a bit of time walking several miles into town.

After recovering from the bus I went out to explore the town. Headed in the direction of a cave and got talking to 4 others who were going in the same direction. Got a boat across the river, the caves were not that big but interesting to explore.

On the way back the boat owner suggested we also visited a fish farm in his village. It was one of them villages near the mangrove swamps on stilts where the only way to get there is by boat. It reminded me a lot of Borneo.

On the second day I quickly discovered that Krabi town was not that big and what there was to do there I had already done the first day. Only stayed an extra day because my washing was still damp. On the day I was due to leave I was woken up at 5am by a load of loud music directly outside. Expecting to see a load of youths in cars or something like that I looked outside. It was a load of women doing aerobics in the car park. I couldn't believe it !!!!!!!
